My teaching approach :

I have over 25 years both as a player and teacher. I have taught all levels and styles of player. my roots lie in jazz but i have branched out into pretty much anything that I like playing. I approach lessons on an individual basis and try to tailor to suit individual taste and experience. I have taught from various well known books like turner and white series and ernie ball.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

Some warmup exercises, co-ordination and other technical exercises depending on level. Working with chords, scales, fingering, and application in songs. Fixing areas of weakness and developing performance ability.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

Basically one who teaches themselves. They know what they want and arent afraid of working to get their goals. I am their to coach and guide them on their journey. they show up with a passion and energy that cant be quenched.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

mon 9am - 7pm tues 9am - 5pm wed 9am - 7pm thur 9am - 5pm fri 9am - 7pm

santana, joe satriani, phil keaggy, steve morse, tommy emmanuel, eric johnson, george benson. mark knopfler etc etc

Fee Schedule :

$25 per half hour. $40 hour. pay up front basis. Cash or check. For a month block or more, 1 free lesson

My cancellation/booking policy :

You should call at least 24 hrs prior to the lesson. The first missed lesson will be refunded. After that each missed lesson will be forfeited. If you call and let me know 24 hrs or more ahead, the lesson will be either refunded or added on later.
