I provide private guitar lessons tailored to your needs. I have over twenty-five years of experience playing the guitar and 15 of that teaching. I am currently taking on new beginner to intermediate students, and I am also willing to travel to your home as well. My schedule is very flexible. I have been in many bands up and down the east coast. I like to say that I play with heart and not my head. My first main focus is to open up different approaches and avenues of learning for the student; if they don't understand what I am showing them, I simply steer them through alternate pathways that are more comfortable for them to traverse. My customers enjoy the fact that I don't rush them through the lesson, take my time, and explain what I am doing and why I'm doing it, because after all, guitar is meant to be fun, right? Hours

We sit down, talk and get to know one another a little bit. I would then inquire where you want to be with your playing, what styles of music you enjoy listening to, who inspires you?

Introduce them to their guitar, naming the parts of the guitar and how they come into play in producing or altering the sound made from the strings, mechanics 101
