My teaching approach :

I believe in building a disciplined practice routine while implementing techniques in a fun, easy-to-learn way. Students will learn the basics of lead and rhythm guitar, and have a solid foundation to pursue any style of music they desire. I use several different books and online resources to supplement lessons.

Guitar lessons are one-on-one in a safe and friendly atmosphere on-stage at Keys Vineyard Community Church. Students only need to bring their guitar to the lessons.

The first thing I do with student's is determine what they want to do with the guitar and form a lesson plan based on that. I also give them background information on the parts of the guitar and a head's up of what to expect in future lessons.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

My ideal guitar student is a willing, hard-working student with a positive attitude. I am willing to teach anyone, but having a good attitude makes everyone's life easier.

Fee Schedule :

I charge $20 for 50 minutes. I will soon have the ability for student's to pay by credit card and paypal.
