My teaching approach :

Learn to play the music YOU love fast and easy. We are very song-centered. Real world examples of great music are our starting point. Theory, scales, chord construction are applied as needed.

We'll work on notes and chords one piece at a time until you build the skills to play the music you like. We use music, tabs, jam tracks and videos to support the goal of playing by ear. Bear in mind that most of the great music we love is created by people who do NOT read. Let's make it easy to play along.

If you already have skills or are just a beginner we will help you chart the course to your goals. We create each lesson for where you are now instead of putting all students in the same book.

Fee Schedule :

Small classes for adult beginners are $25 per month, one hour weekly on Thursday nights at 8:00 PM. Summer Guitar Camp for kids held Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 to 11:30 AM, June 20 through August12 - $119 includes all materials except the guitar. 30 minute privates lessons $20 per week.
