My teaching approach :

I am a professional musician who has been touring with major label bands and indie bands for over 18 years. I am endorsed by Schecter and have many years of session work behind me as well. Currently I teach at Axis music academy and also give lessons in my studio.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

I would ask you to play something, to determine your skill level. Then we would learn a song or genre you are interested in and go from there. I use a lot of metaphors, so complicated theories are much easier to understand.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

If the student can play anything, I will have them play what they know. We will discuss his/her favorite types of music and set up a game plan from there. Every lesson is different, just as every student is different.
