Hi, my name is Dan Polizzi and I am a graduate of Indiana University's School of Music where I studied Classical Guitar & Music Theory. I have been playing guitar for almost 24 years and have 16 years teaching experience.
Over the years I have taught at Wildwood Music in Longmont & Louisville, Keith Music in Longmont, and the CMIC in Longmont, CO., and the Music Education Center (MEC), located in Northglenn.
Just this Fall, myself and James Garcia, have opened up our own teaching studio called the North Metro Music Academy (NMMA,
www.nmma.biz ) located at 88th & Huron which will provide music instruction for the areas of Thornton, Northglenn, Westminster, North Denver, and possibly Broomfield.
As a teacher, I have a very straight forward, 'easy to progress' approach that works great with any age of student ranging from beginning to advanced levels in the styles of Acoustic, Electric, Finger Picking, Blues, Rock, Folk, Classical, & Celtic Fingerstyle.
