My teaching approach :

Learn about music while learning how to play your favorite songs. I have written my own book which starts off teaching chords and has the student playing a song within the first lesson. The student is encouraged to bring cd's or ipods of their favorite music to learn. I have a Bachelor of Science in Jazz studies from u of Southern California and taught 8 years in a music store in Castle Rock.

Fee Schedule :

Lessons are 20$ a half hour and 30$ an hour. Pay by the lesson or by the month. There is a one time, one lesson (20 or 30 dollars depending on half hour or hour lesson) deposit. Deposit will be returned when the student is done taking lessons or it can be used to pay for the last lesson. Books written by the teacher can be purchased for 15 dollars, but purchase is not required to take lessons.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Lessons are usually once a week. Pick a time and date and that is yours until you quit or change times with the teacher. Cancellations must be 24 hours before the lesson or the student will be charged. Emergency cancellations, such as students calling in sick to school, must be done before 9 a.m.
