My teaching approach :

I began playing guitar in earnest when I was 18 and studied locally with professional guitarists. I played for several years in the local band Names Withheld and enjoyed performing in various clubs and venues around Colorado Springs. During that time I also gained valuable recording experience and began writing my own songs. I love all kinds of music, and enjoy learning as much as possible about every type of music out there, from straight rock & roll and blues, to jazz, country, pop, and oldies.

Your first lesson is free, so that I can get to know you and you will leave with knowledge of the structure of the guitar and should be able to play a song on one string. From there, each lesson will be personalized to your specific needs.

I currently provide lessons on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons and early evenings. Each lesson will be weekly in half-hour increments.

Anyone that plays guitar! I really enjoy listening to all styles of playing and feel that something can be gained from exploring all types of music.

Fee Schedule :

Private ½ hour lessons: 1 lesson for $20.00 Four lessons paid in advance $80.00

My cancellation/booking policy :

I require 24-hours notice for cancellations, or I cannot guarantee that you will be provided with a make-up lesson.
