My teaching approach :

I LOVE TO TEACH !!..From Rock to Bach, from 5 to 55...I guarantee results. I have been a musician for 24 years. I am 38. I have toured, I have released multiple c.d.'s, I teach from the very basics, every student is unique and on different levels, I find out where the student is, then go from there.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

I'm very down to Earth, easy to talk to. I don't down my students, I LOVE TO TEACH!! Whether you want to be a Professional Musician, or just play at church or around the fire..I guarantee that I can teach you. I use handouts as well as my own instruction. You'd be surprised what you are capable of.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

I only charge $5 for the first session. I want to get to know your background and musical taste, so I know where your at. I teach you the first chord, we review parts of the instrument, and also a scale. The first session is really just so we can get to know each other, and I will share how I teach as well.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

My ideal guitar student puts 150% into the art of music. I don't want a student to practice while their in my lesson..thats for them to work on at home on a personal level. I TEACH...then the student is given a suggestion on what to work on at home. I want students who want to FEEL the beauty of music.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

I am 24-7 Teacher. I will always try to find the best time for you. Morning, Evening, Afternoon...whatever it is, even if your a 2nd or 3rd shifter, I will work with you.

Fee Schedule :

$5 for the first session... $15 each session..an hour to an hour and a half Once a week I also will work with Lower Income people, I don't turn students down. Yes it's my job, but it's also my passion, and we can come to some sort of agreement. I want to teach you.

My cancellation/booking policy :

I would like to have a 24 hour heads up, but I totally understand things come up.
