My teaching approach :

I find that many traditional methods of teaching the guitar are incomplete in that they only address part of the experience of learning and playing the guitar. Private lessons are great for working out specific problems but lack in the experience of playing with others. The adverse is true of playing in a group setting. I try to integrate both approaches using private/group lessons to fix this.

Fee Schedule :

Students/Parents have the option of paying for instruction on a lesson by lesson basis or for a group of lessons in advance, whatever works best for them. At the moment I can only accept check or cash payments, although I plan on expanding this to credit/debit card payment in the future. Lessons are $20 for a half hour, $35 for a full hour. The rate is the same for private/group lessons.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Students can expect to start their lessons the following week of signing up unless otherwise negotiated or communicated by me. If a student should cancel a lesson they must do so at least twenty four hours in advance otherwise the student will still owe for the lesson (except in case of emergency). If a student cancels three times in a month, lessons will be stopped (except in case of emergency)
