My teaching approach :

My lessons are relaxed and fun. Lessons are based off the student's skill level. We cover the basics of guitar (chords, rhythms, and techniques) and work our way towards more advanced playing (scales, soloing, and neck memorization). A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

Each of my lessons are 30 minutes long. We spend half the lesson going over new guitar techniques, and the other half learning a song of the student's choice.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

The first lesson is getting to know each other. I want to know what types of bands the student listens to as well as how long they've been playing guitar for. To asses a students playing ability I ask them to play some songs for me and have them play a couple of exercises.

My ideal guitar student is anybody who wants to learn how to play guitar and will stay committed to it.

I teach guitar Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Andy Timmons, Andy Mckee, Don Russ, Extreme, John Petrucci, Randy Rhodes, and almost every 80's hair metal band.

Fee Schedule :

I charge $15 for a thirty minute lesson and $25 for a hour lesson

My cancellation/booking policy :

I assign each student a permanent 30 minute time slot each week. I must be notified 24 hours in advance to any cancelation, if not you will be charged for the lesson that you missed.
