My teaching approach :

D.J. Nelson is a graduate of De Paul School of Music in Chicago, class of 1998. While earning his way through college D.J. taught over forty students a week private music lessons and still managed to graduate with honors. Private lessons focus students on all facets of music including theory, reading, composition, technique, improvisation, recording, and just plain old enjoyment of music.

Fee Schedule :

I offer 1/2 hr lessons for @ $80/month and 1 hr lessons @ $135/month cash payment. Fees cover 4 lessons per month. Lessons are paid for on the first scheduled lesson of each month and reserves your time slot for 4 weeks.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Lessons are rain or shine. Good attendance is crucial for students to make progress. Make ups will only be considered for students that provide 24 Hrs notice of absence. Make ups will not be rolled over into following months and money credits will not be given off of monthly fees.
