My teaching approach :

My emphasis? - songwriting. Students are mostly players who have seen me perform. Degree in fine art with 2 years post grad in music performance, theory and composition. Pro since 1977. I use my diverse background in many genres to help songwriters expand their writing skills and improve their musicianship. Consultation and first lesson free. Lessons are recorded to take home. Fee Schedule :

$40 per hour when paid week to week. Or $140 deposit pays for 4 lessons in advance at $35 per lesson then student pays $35 weekly. Balance of deposit refunded if lessons discontinued. House calls are $50 per hour but I prefer studio since it provides more resources for the student - guitars as needed, pre-recorded accompaniment tracks and lesson recording capability.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Cancellation of a lesson with less than 24 hours notice, results in deposit fund being charged for the lesson time. I allow one re-schedule a month. I encourage a specific weekly time but can accommodate your schedule on a week to week basis. Lesson times available all days, evenings and weekends.
