My teaching approach :

One-on-one lessons are structured around a student's specific abilities, something that on-line lessons and videos do not take into account. Technical emphasis of the fundamentals will be important to permit the student to advance comfortably and enhusiastically into a musical style that is appealing to him or her. Although a great deal of effort is required of the student, learning to play the guitar should be fun.

I have over 40 years experience playing guitar with influences that include the blues, jazz, rock and roll, ragtime, swing, gospel, bluegrass, country and folk-rock. Although I teach, I still am always learning something new.

$15 per half hour.
