My teaching approach :

As a teacher I draw on my experience as a guitar student. I pass onto students all the things I'm glad I learned from my early lessons. I also teach students the things I wish I had learned earlier on.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

What happens in a guitar lesson depends on age, ability, experience and wants of each student. Younger students have a more structured lesson. An adult who has been playing a decade might get a lesson completely tailored to his personal desires.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

The first lesson is always the "get acquainted" lesson. We tend to chat a bit, play a bit, and then I teach a bit.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

One who comes to his lessons prepared and is enthused about learning new material.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

Week days - all day Sat. morning - afternoon Sun. mornings only

Beatles, Richie Blackmore, Chet Atkins, Django, Danny Gatton and so many more

Fee Schedule :

Fees are monthly. 160$ for one month of hour lessons 90$ for one month of 1/2 hour lessons No extra charge for 5th weeks.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Though not guaranteed, more often than not I try to give make up lessons. I do not have any strict 24 hour cancellation policy as long as you call me some time before your lesson. There is never a make up when I get stood up.
