My teaching approach :

My teaching approach starts by trying to make the student feel as comfortable as possible. I believe once a positive learning environment is established the lessons begin to flow and a lot of progress can be made in short amount of time.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

Beginning starts with finger exercises. Then some chord progression. Then some scale lessons. From there the lesson depends on what the student whats to accomplish.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

After the introduction i usually ask how long the students been playing, and what he is looking to accomplish. I have a series of finger exerciser for beginners that i like to start the lesson. With more advance students i would start with scales, focusing more on finger placement than speed, and go from there.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

An enthusiast student who wants to learn how to make his guitar an extension of himself.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

weekdays after 4. Lessons last one hour, but are flexible to the situation.

Fee Schedule :

30$, at the end of a lesson.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Everything is over the phone, i have a very laid back attitude about cancellations but i would ask for 24 hour notice.
