Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following
Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:
My influences are:
Tim Stafford, Lincoln Meyers, Kenny Smith, David Grier, Scott Nygaard, Tony Rice, Clarence White, Eric Uglum, Dave Yates, Ron Block, Russ Barenberg, Steve Watt (thanks Dad!), etc., and my contemporaries: Adam Wright, Avril Smith, Flynn Cohen, Andy Falco, Justin Carbone, Tim Hicks, Jamey Pittman, Jason Kenney, and many more.
Fee Schedule :
I charge $50 an hour, and $30 for a half hour. Since I know finding the right teacher can be a difficult task, the first lesson is a full hour for the price of a half hour. A number of my regular students travel from 2 or 3 hours to take lessons, and I offer them longer lessons (typically 90 minutes or two hours), or try to help out in other ways.
My cancellation/booking policy :
I understand that things in life happen, and therefore I have no cancellation policy (fortunately, none of my students has taken advantage of this so far). I prefer to schedule lessons via e-mail, however over the phone works as well. I am often out of town, so booking in advance is quite helpful. However, when I am in town, I tend to be fairly flexible about lesson times and locations.
Which methods of payment are accepted?
Cash, Checks, Paypal
I have been teaching guitar for:
