My teaching approach :

Lessons are fun! I teach acoustic styles. You will learn proper playing technique, note & tab reading,strumming, fingerpicking,accompaniment styles & solos, theory,chords galore, songs, songs, songs, folk, pop, jazz, blues.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

Listen to the things the student has been practicing. Review as necessary. Introduce new material. Sometimes we sight read and play together.

Talk about what types of guitar skills the student would like to learn or improve upon. Lessons are geared to the students interests and experience.

After school and into the evenings. I teach on Tuesday mornings, and could open other mornings up to lessons as well.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Consistency in attendance is expected, and last minute cancellations will be charged. Lessons can be re-scheduled for the occasional school or family activity conflicts, with 24 hour notice.
