A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

It depends on the student, but I try to teach one or two songs per lesson at least, unless it is a quite involved lesson with many parts to one song.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

Do a run through of the beginner's book if they are a beginner, usually getting up to playing on the first / 2nd strings. If they are intermediate already we will do some songs. If they are advanced we might check the scales and modes, and see what they want to learn.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

$100 a month, standard flat tuition, more if driving is required to a home ($125 monthly tuition within 15 minutes).
