My teaching approach :

Professional musician in Honkey-Tonk dance bands and Bluegrass Bands since 1963. Professional Teacher of Banjo, Mandolin, Guitar for 35 years. I specialise in teaching how to jam. I teach that music is a language, and how to think in the language of music. I split between techniques, repetoire, and theory. I have had many, many successful students, including a few who have gone pro.

Fee Schedule :

I charge US$25.00 per lesson. I schedule only one lesson per hour. I don't charge for missed lessons if advanced notice is given. I teach in my home which is between Bellingham and Ferndale, just a skip off I-5. I teach Monday thru Saturday afternoons and early evenings.
