My teaching approach :

I use a very simple aproach to theory for beginners. Learning an instrument can be quite overwhelming for many. Depending on individual needs, we may just start learning some relative chords, or we may go into why certain scales or modes will work with different progressions.... or how to make that rockstar face when bending a string ;-D I have an aresenal of equipment, but may no.1 is my Les Paul. I am currently (and will always be) active in live music.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

We start by a quick review of the last lesson in case the student may have questions. Then we pick up where we left, depending on the student.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

I will ask if they have any basic knowledge, mabey get them to play something. I will pay attention to the way they hold the guitar, pick, etc. I will give them the basic info such as string names, exercises, and such.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

Some one who has a true passion for music, any music, with a desire to learn more than just a few riffs.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

Monday-Saturday mostly evenings right now.

Fee Schedule :

80$ a month, pre-paid 1/2 hr lessons once a week.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Pre-Pay monthly. If I have to cancel a lesson then I will owe you a lesson. If the student has to cancel they still pay. (with some exceptions)
