My teaching approach :

I have been gigging since 1973 and recently opened up for Josh Groban. I am a conservatory grad and a board-certified music therapist. My job as a teacher is to assess how you learn and to use the teaching methods that work for you. If you are a beginner or a working musician, I can move you along toward your goal, using the music that you love. I teach Piano and Bass as well. Special needs? Yes!

Fee Schedule :

In-home lessons are $40 for a 45 minute lesson, and $30 for a 30 minute lesson. I give discounts for families who have multiple students taught in the same visit. I currently do not have any openings for studio lessons, but that can change at any time. I still have a few openings in the Columbia/Ellicott City area and a few on Wednesdays when I am in the Owings Mills/Pikesville area.

My cancellation/booking policy :

i only ask for one month's commitment at a time. All lessons contracted for will be charged if the student is absent, except for emergencies, sickness, death in family, etc. I make an effort to provide make-up lessons as scheduling permits, but I cannot guarantee make-ups. Holidays and other planned absences can be accounted for at the beginning of each month.
