My teaching approach :

Will start by finding out what the student wants to learn and what his or her music influences are. Then we will begin to unfold what it will take, to get to that point of expertise. I dont force feed anything I want the student to want to learn it. My gear and basic teaching gear is simple. When I am giving the lesson on how to actually play something, I will use a practice amp with maybe a few little overdrive pedals and a american telecaster. When the student is showcasing what he has learned i will beef it up a little bit with delays and more gain.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

The first lesson will entail getting to know the student and musical influences. After that every lesson we will start with a warm up lesson to get us ready to rock. Depending on the students level of knowledge, I shall enclose my thoughts on what we should be working on, I make sure they can crawl before they start running.

Introductory lessons with beginners will begin with a warm up exercise, to get the blood flowing. The beginning of the lesson we will recap on what we learned previously. After I know that is down pat we will move on to something more difficult and fun.

My ideal student is anyone who wants to learn and have fun with a guitar, most of my influence with a guitar has come through church music. Frustration comes with the game of learning, so moms and dads dont worry if your kids get frustrated.....it comes with the game

I try to do all my lessons in the evening from 3-8, and days of operation are mon,tue,wed,fri,sat. Thursdays and Sundays i am tied up with church

Fee Schedule :

i Usually charge $30/hr. most students will only really want to do one hour of lesson
