My teaching approach :

I have played for over 45 years. in my younger years I opened up for acts such as the allmand bros.fleetwood mac.I play by ear and teach others to really play what they want to.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

I want students to learn how to play songs they want to learn and songs I want them to learn. And learn certain exercises I want them to do. some scales. I can teach you many things,BUT the Key is PRACTICE. In some of my lessons I use a drum machine so the student can learn different ways to strum and play the guitar. I also make cd's of songs for the student to take home and practice certain songs.

In the introductory lesson we'll talk a little to see what kind of music you like? Have you ever played any other instruments? I like to see what you can play. if you know any chords. Just how much you know? A beginner. have you ever held a guitar ?
