I individualize all of my lessons to meet individual students needs and learning desires. Whether you are a high school or college student that just wants to learn the basics quickly and rock out on guitar or a parent who wants their child to learn how to read music and develop guitar technique, I can help you reach your goals with my lessons. I also place a strong emphasis on music theory, picking and strumming methods, gear selection and set up, effects, singing and playing, and recording and production. A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

The student arrives, tunes the guitar, we then go over lesson material, and lastly we go over any song the student wants to learn or we will work on the student's recording project.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

Every student starts out at a different level of natural talent. I assess each students natural talent within the first two lessons (usually) and assign appropriate lessons materials based on my evaluation.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

My ideal student is a student that comes to lessons with the material practiced and prepared. Practice makes perfect (I don't care how old and how much this saying has been used. It is true!)

Monday thru Friday evenings

Fee Schedule :

$20 per 30-60 minutes Cash is preferred; will accept checks for one time monthly payments.

My cancellation/booking policy :

I must be notified of any lesson cancellations one week in advance, otherwise lessons will not be credited. If a student continually misses lessons I reserve the right to cancel that students time slot. This all depends on the circumstances.
