My teaching approach :

As a professional musician and music educator, I bring a diverse background of knowledge and provide highly effective lessons that are both fun and deeply informative. In addition I run a music camp for all ages throughout the year. I have shared recording credits with Trey Anastasio of Phish, Arlen Roth (simon and Garfunkel) Richard Bell (The Band) Hal Ketchum (Grand Ole Oprey) and many others. I am also a voting member of the Grammy's and a nationally recognized guitar maker.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

I meet the student where they are at and continually strive to bring them to the level they wish to obtain. This could be as simple as someone wanting to learn a song for an occasion or enter a music school after high school or a pro looking to enhance his or her creative approach to the instrument. Students also benefit greatly from working with others at my music camps should they attend.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

My ideal guitar student is one that is able to enjoy the incredible impact music can have in ones life. I really enjoy seeing people express themselves through the guitar as well as songwriting. My students have written a combined total of over 100 songs in the past year.

Fee Schedule :

Lessons are $80.00 per month unless there is a 5th week in that month, then naturally there is an additional $20.00 charge for the 5th lesson.

My cancellation/booking policy :

I send a full policy document to each student upon sign up.
