My teaching approach :
I am a full time guitar instructor, Guitar World magazine contributor, Berklee alum, and author of a successful series of instructional books. I have been playing for 22 years, gigging professionally for 17, and teaching for 18 years. My instruction specialty is advanced technique and theory, though I teach students of all ages, all styles, and all levels of experience. I will take your playing to the next level!

We discuss their goals and I assess their ability. Beginners learn a complete song and some basic exercises designed to accelerate their initial development. Intermediate, advanced, and pro players can expect immediate improvements in their technique and grasp of advanced theory.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:
Lessons are held Monday through Saturday (12pm-11pm M-F, 11am-6pm on Saturday)
My influences are:
Zakk Wylde, Dimebag Darrell, Slash, Yngwie Malmsteen, George Lynch, James Hetfield, Jeff Beck, David GIlmour, Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, Jake E. Lee, Joe Satriani, Jason Becker, and Billy Gibbons. Paul Gilbert's technique and teaching style have also had an extremely important impact.
Fee Schedule :
$25 for a half hour and $40 for an hour, with an extra $5-$10 for house calls (depending on location)
My cancellation/booking policy :
Lessons are paid one week in advance. Cancellations must be made with more than 48 hours notice before the scheduled lesson to avoid forfeiture of payment, though an email equivalent lesson will be provided if less than 48 hours notice is given.
