My teaching approach :
I use a unique method of teaching based around the student's musical interests and goals. I like to teach students what they want to learn and teach excercises to better their skills. I have experience in many styles of guitar and music. When students take lessons with me, I develop personalized lessons based on how each student learns, learning speed, and what they want to learn.

My guitar lessons are different for every student. My students learn at their own speed. I prepare lessons for students with the student's fun and musical goals as the priority. I have education in musical theories and styles and I make sure that the student is getting the most out of their lessons.
Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following
When working with a new student, I first asses the students abilities by asking questions about musical experience. I usually will have a student play what they know if they have any prior experience in playing the guitar.
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following
My ideal guitar student is anyone with a desire to learn. I am an excellent and patient teacher to students of all ages and levels of experience.
Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:
I can teach lessons any time on weekends and I can teach on weekdays any time from 3:30pm to 10:00pm. During the summer I can teach anytime every day of the week.
My influences are:
I have a broad variety of muscial interests ranging from jazz to alternative rock. I enjoy all types of music. Music is a large part of my life and I try to share my love for music with my students.
Fee Schedule :
My first two lessons are always free. My usual rate is $12/hour for one on one private lessons. I also teach group lessons at a rate of $8/hour per person. I am open to negotiate fees if my rates are not affordable.
My cancellation/booking policy :
Students typically book lessons at least two days in advance. If a student needs to cancel, they will not be charged. Students must cancel at least 3 hours before the lesson.
