My teaching approach :

Each student learns at a different pace, therefore every lesson is tailored to the students’ unique needs. I start off with the proper technique to hold the guitar and how to hold the guitar pick. The right hand is the more important of the two hands and unfortunately most teachers never work on that hand! My father John Dougherty has studied and become friends with Jazz legends Pat Martino and George Benson and all agree that the right hand technique is the most efficient.

$25 per 30 minute private lesson

My cancellation/booking policy :

You must cancel 24 hrs before the lesson time or you wil be charged. Exceptions can be made for emergencies.
